Sept 23-Hypertension Stage 1

hypertension stage 1 Current mood: drained
so i have been having issues with my blood pressure on and off for several years but recently to add ot it i have been ahving chest pains. I know most of it is form a daycare child i have who has been screaming constantly and has been becoming TOO much for me and my family. I knew i had ot ge tit checked as my chest pains have been getting worst since last week and so we went into the drs today and of course my blood pressure was high (knew it was) and so she is starting me on a Beta Blocker (blood pressure meds). The one they started me on is not the one they usually start people on (its the one they give you if the 1st 2 are not strong enough to help), BUT it is known to help reduce/eliminate migraines which i get a lot of so she said why not kill two birds with one pill?!so i have to take the pill once a day and can NOT stop taking them/miss a day or can have sever complications. Also part of the blood pressure would be that i am fat..yes, i know this so you dont have to sugarcoat it.lol. so i am having to go see a dietician to get on a hypertensive diet (low sodium and whatever else causes blood-pressure to rise and add in lot sof what makes it go down). SO this will be fun! here goes nothing......
