a long month Current mood: drained
Its been a LONG month!!! ast month vinny got diareaha, we think it was from the place we went to eat and maybe something form the shopping carts, a stomach bug, well he had it for TWO WEEKS! He FINALLY got over it and then 4 days later got pink eye..where from, we do not know and then it took him a week to get over it and then the day he woke up looking great he had given it to owen. So we went to my parents and spent all alst friday in the ER at the Bremerton Naval Hospital (in their waiting room as they are soo slow there). Both boys developed a cough the same day they woke up with pink eye. so while at the tail end of being over pink eye...FINALLY. we brought owen in to Urgent Care last night as his cough he got the same day as pink eye has progressivly gotten worst and last night was having trouble breathing and started throwing up....he has Pnemonia AND bronchiolitis and they are worried it will turn into RSV. So after spending all night at Urgent Care and almost getting transfered to a NICU/PICU he stats went up and we left with a nebulizer and amoxicylin (sp) well after they were supposed to be closed (and we werent even the last ones there). oh he also got a steriod shot fo rhis lungs last night before we left and he screamed...POOR GUY!We had to go back in today to have an RSV test done but they said that it will take 2 days to get the results back. in the meantime we have to use the nebulier every 6 hrs like clockwork, give him the yucky amoxcyclin and his pink eye meds. So until the results come back we are to watch him closely and if there is even the slightest change we are to bring him in ASAP so he can be transfered and admitted. I also put his breathing monitor back under his crib for right nwo so i can sleep a bit better. I feel soo bad for him! Sp please pray fo rhim and hope he gets well soon and that it isnt RSV related.
Oh the joys of being a mom to a preemie!...heck the joys of being a mom period!
