leading up to Owen's arrival

bed rest Current mood: blah
so i have been having a lot of contractions and back pain so i finally gave in and went in to L&D yestrday and they monitored the contractions and although his (owens) heart rate would drop when i had them they werent enough of them to know what was going on so i am now (well as of yesterday) on bed rest. Sean was supposed to leave on friday for Cali until April 5th but he has called his lpo and they are going to try and find someone else to go. im hoping they do as i know he was the only one going so theres others to pick from. not too much longer and hopefully i will be feeling better...just having a lack of sleep will bey problem then. ;)

well, things are going good here. we are awaiting the arrival of Owen....hopefully get to schedule my C-Section in the next month. (crossing our fingers that is). I have been busy with taking childcare provider classes and those end on thursday next week (feb 21st) and i have a final house inspection on the 12th of March and hopefully then they will call me in to the office asap to pay for the extra insurance and then get started. As some of you know we had issues with our daycare provider we had vinny in so we have moved him to a new one...whom we LOVE and he has soo much fun there. he never wants to leave and doesnt care we're leaving. its nice to know he feels safe there too. She was also gracious enough to take him part time which helps with saving some money/paying off more before the arrival of Owen.
Anyways, i wanted to let you all know that my good friend whittnee is throwing my baby shower on MARCH 1, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. I havent heard back form many of you but would like to think you will be there. please let us know so she can plan things for games and prizes and have enough food and drinks. it shall be at my place as we have a bigger place. childrens hospital is next
so i went back for another big ultrasound a tthe university of washington today and they tell me now i have to go to childrens hospital in the next month for more testing and a echo-cardio gram (i think thats what they called it) since they cant see all the chambers of the heart still and they cant get a good sound from the heart (not loud enough i guess for the sensors to pick it up enough for analyzing it). and they want to make sure there is no heart defect as they also cant see all the large vessels they should be seeing, but they said it looks well and is probalby cuz he wasnt int he best position (hes finally transvered as i am not getting kicks in the pelvic bone anymore). BUT everything looks good and i actually got lots of pics this time. most profile shots. man, does he have seans BIG nose and my big cheeks.LOL. Seans jsut glad that Owen might actually look like him since up to recently vinny has always been a spitting image of me (lucky child.LOL). Just thought id update you all. oh and my next appointment at the Oak Harbor Naval Hospital is feb 4th!
