sat Current mood: grateful
today i felt soo good as to have been able to sleep in a real bed. it was soo nice. we slept in a bit and then got moving to get something to eat and go see Owen. we went into labor and delivery to have my staples removed but they were doing an emergency c section so they told me to come back later...SOO wasnt looking fwd to this. we went back tot he hotel after holding owen and pumping and we fell asleep for like 4 hrs. then we got up and i pumped then we went ot eat and back to the hospital....this iwll be our life for some time now. i went and had the stpales removed and ditn feel a thing really. i was all worked up about it for nothing.
Owen is up to 9 cc of food every 3 hrs and is still on the lights but is doing great. he had 3 brady episodes today but none yesterday. the nurse in ther etonight said he is her favorite baby she has in there. he is the quietest and easiest as he doenst set off his alralms much if at all. this is good to hear. everyone here has been soo helpful and informative. we are lucky to have such a great support system betwen the nurses and drs here, our fmaily and the overwhelming amount of support from friends (some we didnt even know too well). Our family could not make it through this wihtout all the love and support you ahve showed us. your prayers and thoughts are working as Owen is getting strnger day by day and as we have been otld ot expect his discharge date to be his due date of may 12th we ar ehoping with his strength it might be sooner, but not too soon of course. thank you all!!!
