So i had a lapse in judgment, a blonde moment, or whatever youd like to call it today so for those of you having a poopy weekend already or are just needing a smile here it comes. ;))
So as you all know i am selling D.Toys....well, i had to borrow my leaders kit as mine didnt come in time and i had a show to do. Sp the next day vinny had spilt water on one of the cardboard books (that was in rough shape anyways) and the back page came apart so idecided that super glue would do the trick.
Today we went and bought the super glue as she was coming to pick up her kit, including the book, this afternoon. I open the package, read how to open it....take the lid off, twist the top until it stops clicking and then untwist. well, i had no problem with the 1st two steps but i could not get it to untwist and being lazy and not wanting ot go into the kitchen to get somethign to untwist it with as it was killing my fingers i decided to use my teeth...YUP...MY TEETH! Well needless to say it untwisted AND squirted in my mouth. Within seconds i could feel my tongue sticking to the roof of my mouth....whats worst i was on the phone with nancy TRYING to talk normally os she owuldnt know what stupid thing i just did (i eventually had to tell her and get off the phone). Then i could feel my teeth getting all hard. so im sitting there trying to scoop it off the roof of my mouth and tongue before it dries all the way and my tongue is permantly stuck (try explaining THAT to the E.R. Drs.LMAO)! so i got it all off my tongue and roof of mouth but meanwhile it had completly dried on my teeth. so hours later i STILL have super glue on my teeth!
Moral of the story: dont be lazy and put Super Glue in your mouth!
Trip to Walmart to get the glue: 2 hrs with the kids and husband
Bottle of Super Glue: $3.96 + tax
reading half the directions: 15 seconds i cant get back
using your teeth as pliers: PRICELESS!
