8-12: UC?EIP/1st taste of baby food all in one week

Yes, what a week...on top of my whole inspection ordeal. Two weeks ago both my daycare kids were sick btu i let them come in anyways (i know my fault) and i did everythign i could to keep things clean and used bleach and washed hands before touching owen and yet he got sick. So Owen started weezing and was all nasaly so i took him into Urgent Care last thursday as he was getting bad and his lungs arent as developed as they should be for his age so we ahve to be careful so they looked him over said his lungs sound clear TODAY but that could change fast and that he was congested up top and it was working its way down to his chest so thats the sound we hear along with a cough. Thje Dr asked about his rashes on his face an di said allergies but his dr said he couldnt take anything including benadryl but he left and came back and said that he weighs enough to take 1/2 a tsp two times a day (which has helped A LOT...they ar ento as noticeable now..still there but he cant get on zyrtec until 6 mths), then he gives us tylenol, saline drops and he has to take all AT THE SAME TIME. So i feel like i am drugging my poor child. He now gets in the morning): zantac for reflux, benydral, tylenol, iron and vitmain drops, saline drops and gas drops all at the SAME time. i feel like im lining up a mini pharmacy! Poor guy! He said to make a follow up appointment within 2-3 days so i call 1st thing monday (well after my crappy inspection) and they cant get us in until FRIDAY...WHAT THE CRAP??!!! he still sounds bad but the meds work for a few hrs. So we shall see what they say on friday.
Also, we have a conusltaion for the Early Intervention Program to come to the house tomorow for a consultation. It is basically physical, ocupational, and speech therapy NOW so they dont get behind later. Being a preemie he automatically gets it. and the nice thing is that until 36 mths of age they come to our house so we dont have to pack the kiddos up and i dont have to miss work. AND when he becomes preschool age he automatically gets into headstart FREE. YEAH! So i will let you all know how that goes after tomorow.
Baby food: Today at 5 mths 1 day old we gave owen his 1st taste of baby food, applesauce, it is the same thing I started vinny with at 4 mths. He LOVED it! he threw a fit when i wouldnt give him anymore. Sean took pics so ill post them later. He did GREAT with it too. he didnt shove it back out with his tongue or anything. Such a BIG boy now!
