So we had our big meeting today with the Physical Therapist and the head person of The Toddler Learning Center to determine how often and what kind of P.T. he will recieve.
so this is their results from the evaluation they did a few weeks ago (he was 5 1/2 mths then) to help determine how often they will come to OUR house for P.T.

Total Fine Motor Score: 16th%; -1.00SD

SO, they say he does not qulify for Gross motor skills which i do not understand if NONE of the areas in gross motor skills he is up to his age level and his overall percentile is 27%. Makes no sense....BUT they do not take into consideration his prematurity and do not specialize with preemies so we will be going to madigan to have an evaluation done there since they specialize in it and have a "high risk" clinic (EIP) there. However, he does qualify for P.T. in fine motor skills os they WILL be coming to work on that and his feet since they sit inward on their sides when he stands (like vinnys did and he had torticallis) and his legs bow a bit.
After discussing all the stuff that needs to be worked on and goals we want reached in teh enxt 6 mths-one year form now they decided it would be best to come to ur home to do P.T. with Owen ONCE A WEEK for 6 mths and then reevaluate then to see where he stands in one year. Our first real P.T. session will be next wed here a the house...i REALLY love that they come to our house for it!

we had his 6 mth appointment the other day and we got stuck with dr Rasmussen (whom i did NOT like at all...he was extremly rude and told me that i wanted owen to get on zyrtec to get rid of his bumps for my personal cosmetic reasons so i will have a better looking baby and not to help Owen with his allergies...which the bumps ARE FROM HIS ALLERGIES!....GGRRR!) But in the end i got the prescription jsut hav eto go get it now..vinny was screaming so i wasnt about to wait 2 hrs with a screaming 2 1/2 yr old.
They did not correct it to a 4 mth old when doing his percentiles like they are supposed too
Weight: 17 lbs 12 oz 75% so for a 4 mth old hed be off the charts.lol
height: 25 1/2 in 10-25%
Head Circumference (sp): 16 7/8 in 25-50%
so basically he is chubby, short and has a big head.LOL. I love my chunky monkey!!
