march 17, 08-a great start to a new week

monday march 17th a GREAT start to a new week Current mood: happy

so here is an overview of last weeks stats and the start of a GREAT week (hopefully). today has been a great day!
he was taken off the cpap after only 2 days on it. he has gone form 1 cc of food every hr to 3 cc to 6 cc to 9cc to 12 cc yesterday and is now at 16 cc today. he has been takne off the extra fat they have been feeding him since hes eating soo well and they lowered his oxygen to 3/4 from the 1 1/2 he started at (i htink its ltrs but not sure how they measure that) and he has been off the phototherapy lights for 2 days now as his billyribin numbers are evening out and getting to where they should be. also they think they will be able to take him off the iv of vitamins as well. so he has been making great prgoress. we cant wait to take him home but a tthe same time dont want to take him home too early. they said to expect his discharge date to be his due date (may 12th) but that he could go home sooner if he is doing well. the drs have all been impressed by how well he has been doing for his size.well, i need to nap badly before we go back to see him. i feel like we arent there enough at the hospital but i know ther eisnt much we can do for him (which is also hard). so i just cherish the moments i get to see and hold him. i got to do the kangaroo hold today and it was GREAT! he was sleeping soo good and he kept licking me which was funny.lol. today has been a GREAT day for all of us!
